Is this a Co-Venture of NESN and YES? Its so creepy to be home and see ads for this on YES, then come back to school and watch it on NESN...

LOL.. same for me. School at Cornell, home in central MA.

This tournament looks a little hokey, and poorly produced? And what's the premise of "team play"?

G-d im getting tired of noertheasterners thinking the rest of the country cares about some pseudo rivalry between NY and Boston. Not sure its relevant to this just thought id share.....

What the hell is Boston anymore anyway?? Like the 12th biggest city in the country...i think Houston is twice its size.

size has nothing to do with it. it is the fact that boston is 1 of the first great cities. Also it all started when babe ruth was traded to ny for a cash because the owner of the redsox was in debt. that is when the world series strak started and ended 86 years later last year.that is when the sports rivalry really started. just about all the teams from mass have a rivalry with a team from ny. without mass and ny there wouldnt even be a US.

Under that logic Va. should be the most important state....

Boston is nothing anymore...a few overatted universities and venture cpaital firms...thats about it.

Philadelphia is AT LEAST as important as Boston and gets 1/10th the attention.

Chicago is probably 3x as important and probably still gets less attention.

Maybe if your cities managed to suck at sports for 80 years you'd get attention to.

Now that Boston has won in Baseball and Football they will soon be forgotten and Chicago will rise to fame, unless the Bulls keep improving.

Ya...those Celtics have really stunk it up over the last 80 years....

Really good point...

BTW Chicago has 2 teams that havent won the WS for decades...a football team that hasnt done a thing in 20 years, hockey..well ugh..and bad college teams except Illini bball.
