Re: Party 15. Bet this River?
we can already see that you checked because you left the final pot size at 5 bb. anyway you should bet since he checked the turn and river and tends towards laggy. he has A high probably and will call.
but the real story here is you need to fold preflop. what a goofy awful hand to put another sb in with. yuck. |

Re: Party 15. Bet this River?
If you had raised the flop, & bet the turn, you could check the river more easily. As it is, you are still not likely to get a fold from a better hand or a call from a worse one, so the check is still probably best.

Re: Party 15. Bet this River?
To be honest, he had a pre-flop steal of over 50% and he was laggy too, so I was planning to defend with almost any two cards

im pretty sure that's a mistake, but any online experts can feel free to put me in my place and ill listen (bicyclekick, nate, whoever). let him have the stupid 95o. then when you plan to play, say with something like 97s or better go ahead and reraise him and put him to the test. |

[/ QUOTE ] I fold 95o and 96o there. 97o i'm calling though. 97s I'm sometimes raising, but calling more than raising probably. 95s i probably call, as well as 96s. It really depends. You see, these players will give you so much action postflop if you make a hand...it might be worth playing. Just don't try to bluff them off, it won't work very well. |

Re: Party 15. Bet this River?
Bad plan (unless he weirdly turns into a folding station postflop if he misses). Fold this crap and move on.
