I like folding. With all those opponents and a bet and a raise in front of you there's just too much chance you're behind.

Yes I also push this preflop sometimes. I was actually thinking of mentioning this but I didn't, perhaps I started to wonder how good a play that is, limping for 60 in this multiway pot is also good and less risky. I'd be curious as to how other 55 players feel about pushing here.

Why do I bother posting any more, I just agree with Tigerite all the time.

Heh

The reason I say push is, there's only been one raise, and 3 calls. None of them seem to love their hands enough to re-raise, and there's 230 in the pot. I'd be much less inclined to push this, for instance, after a raise to 100 and a call of 100.. FE is much less, and chance of them having a better hand is too high. But here? Well, even if any of them call, the chance of them having a pair we smash is way too high. I can't see many calling with AQ, and those who do, will probably call with AJ as well - good for us. Anyone with AK would usually re-raise, but even with the overlay, we wouldn't hate that calling too much. Only duanethedude is likely to have AA-QQ, and that just won't be often enough. Nobody after us will call without a massive hand, and I'm willing to take the risk..

By the way I would call with TT and below, obviously. AK I may push.. I may call.. probably more tending towards call.

Totally agree (again, sigh),call with TT and below ...

Pushing picks up the pot more often than not I believe and those chips sure help. The downside is that if we are called them most of the time we are coinflipping which is bad. When we are called by a pair I'm not sure how often we are ahead. Maybe I should know this considering how many 55's I've played by now but I don't. Basically pushing seems +EV to me but is it more +EV than limping? The 55's are just so freaking donkish that there's much to be said for avoiding early coinflips because a good player has so much +EV anyway.

Close decision anyhow (for me at least), would love to hear what others think.
