Top pair with 3 flush on board
No solid reads at this table although everybody seemed pretty decent with no apparent "call the flop with anything" type donks. The guy to my left was slightly laggish.

Bet, fold to raise. [/ QUOTE ] That's what I did although afterwards I felt that check and see might have been a better option. Let the LAG on my left bet and see if anyone check raises. The turn card not only completes a flush but it also completes a straight for the common "JT" hand. I figured with 3 players calling my flop bet someone either had an ace, perhaps with a better kicker, or a draw which completed on the turn. Perhaps betting would have been a more clear cut choice if the pot were slightly larger. |
