Default Pat Burrell is the anti-clutch

He feasts on a pitcher's mistakes. can't hit the ball the other way.
throw him a slider away and he's out everytime.
that is all.

this is useful information. someone should alert opposing pitchers, he'll never get a hit again.

this is frequently discussed during broadcasts (non-philly announcers) as well as on other medias

dont get me wrong, he can hit a hanging slider, but if you hit your spot he'll try and pull it and thats it

Yeah, sliders are really easy to hit. Imagine, he can only hit the hanging ones. I am shocked.

seriously guys, its not that complicated. just get your pitcher to always throw hard sliders right on target.

just throw a perfect pitch every time and never miss your spot, duh
