Default AQo with four to a straight on the board - Was it wrong to slow down?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises</font>, CO folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (13 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(6 players)</font>
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls, SB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls.

I can't see you being ahead often enough here to justify raising, 6 six players to the flop and odds to call with a inside draw...
