SBC trip report (no pics)

some friends came to visit me this weekend and one of the things they wanted to do was see a ball game. The mighty A's were in Texas so that left us with the suck a$$ Giants. Actually I was looking forward to it since I'd never been to SBC Park.

Pro: It was Gaylord Perry Bobblehead Day and we got the bobblehead.
Con: They had a 2 hour retirement ceremony for Gay Perry's number.

Pro: The garlic fries were pretty good.
Con: The big hot dog was overpriced and really sucked. Way too salty.

Con: The Giant's have a female announcer. This is not right. I'm all for women being able to hold any job except ballpark announcer.

Pro: Splash hits. Delgado crushed the longest home run I've ever seen in to the San Francisco Bay. That thing was going over the right field wall and still hadn't reached it's apex.
Con: Alex Sanchez in center field. This guy might be the worst player in baseball. The Giant's lost 16-4 and they were blaming Sanchez. lol. I really got a kick out of that.

Pro: ballpark perks like the whiffle ball area for the shorties.
Con: Publicly financed ballpark means only one DiamondVision. Lame.

Pro: Blond sitting next to me with big fake breasts busting out of her tank top.
Con: Blond sitting next to me with a big real beer gut busting out of her tank top. Hot or not? Depends on your perspective.

the garlic fries are good. but the best food is the teriyaki bowl from the grill behind center field.

Totally agree. A couple times a year the Mariners do this. I also hate it when they let a kid do the PA for an inning.
