Small: $100 NL and lower
Mid: $200 and $400 NL
High: $600 and above.

[/ QUOTE ]

mid should include the 600 to give it more traffic and the fact that the 600 games online play way, way more like the 2-4 than the 5-10.

This is bitchin'.

1/2 should probably be in mid to help out SS. And it works well cognitively because it's a good stepping stone limit between levels. There's been, like, brain science research on this kinda [censored].

The thought of 1/2 even being considered 'mid' is laughable.

While you're certainly correct, it's a matter of semantics. Come up with a different name than "mid" but I agree with many in this thread that online $1-2NL should be lumped with online 2/4 and 3/6.

Best I can come up with is changing the current small stakes to Micro-Small, the middle forum to Small-Mid and the high forum Mid-High.

This also supports EL D's idea of having people use their judgement for 5-10NL, determining if the concepts in the hand are closer related to 10-20 or 3/6.

I like this idea, and I'm gonna need the new SSNL forum soon. This worked pretty well on the limit side, where the pholosophy was that SS starts with the lowest limits played in a casino.

i disagree; i think that 1/2 is conceptually much less advanced than 2/4 or 3/6.

Of course it's much less advanced than 2/4 and 3/6, but it's much more advanced than .5/1 and below. I would say $200 NL is where a lot of concepts become important, and I don't think these concepts are discussed enough in the SSNL forum.

Micro: $100 and below
Mid: $200 - $600
High: $1000 and above
