Default different strategies?

I've been playing NL SNGs, both one table (on Party) and two table (on Stars).

Since Party doesn't give me much time and the structure isn't very favorable, my general strategy is to fold most every hand for the first three levels (except really strong ones). Then I open it up a little bit and start moving in when it gets 6 and 5 handed. This is an okay strategy.

But this isn't how I play on Stars. Since I start with a deeper stack and the structure is more favorable to better players, I'll play medium pocket pairs from anywhere depending on game texture. I also limp with suited connectors. Rarely do I limp with big offsuit cards. If I do I'm raising (AK, AQ, AJ, KQ).

Anyway, the question is, do my different strategies make sense? Or should I play the Stars one the way I play on Party?

Thoughts/comments would be appreciated.
