Default Online Relative To Casino Limits

I almost apologize for this question, as it really is a newbie type question, but here goes. If I consistantly beat online 5-10 NL how do you think I would do at a bigger game in a casino. Particularly the Borgata 10/20 or 10/25 whatever they spread (I have never even thought of playing it, so I am not sure which it is).

I know at the lower limits people say you can beat a game 5 tims as big, I am not sure that carries over to the higher limits though. Any thoughts?

Note: I usually play 2-5 NL in the casinos. I think I have a harder time playing big live, as it doesnt bother me if I drop $2,000 online in an a couple of hours, but losing $2,000 cash in a few hours live probably would.
Anyone dealt with a simmilar situation? Am I just being a pansy?

Hey,

The 10/25, from my experience, is sometimes really good and sometimes really bad, it depends who is sitting, whether it is all the AC locals (read: nits) that do this for a living, or whether there is a mix of some rich gambling types too. Buy in, try out, if doesn't look like a good game just leave. Normally either the 5/10 or the 10/25 will be great, but not both, it's because one normally has all the locals, and the other doesn't so look out for that.

Also, I think I have more gamble in me online than I do live, despite the amount I've played, I still have issues with the numbers being actual money online, namely, it still doesn't completely feel like it. I am a lot more upset when I lose 1000 live than when I do online. I don't think this is that abnormal. If you have issues with the cash thing live just buy in short for a while until you get comfortable with the chips.

Is it capped buy-in? $2500? What is the minimum I should sit with?
BTW, I have play 5-10 a few times and won at both the Borgata and Trop 5-10 game.

they changed it during the WPT weekend there was no max. I don't know if that is a permanent thing or if they changed it back. Sit with 2500, you'll pick up on what's what REAL quick.

the 10-25 was 5k max buy-in, but as azk mentioned, they uncapped it during the wpt, and were considering leaving it uncapped for good; i hope they went with that but i haven't been back since the wpt wknd so i'm not sure. if you beat 5-10 online you will have absolutely zero problem beating the borg 10-25: i have never sat in a game there that wasn't as soft as a typical 400nl game on party. good luck.
