A raise accomplishes nothing, keeping the pot small on this flop is crucial OOP.

Something didn't feel right about the turn, I thought maybe it was debatable.

This is a bad board to play passively on, IMO. There's just way to much there that already has you beat or that can outdraw you.

Villain's bets on the flop and turn are perfectly sized value bets if he's drawing to the a big flush - if you fold he wins the pot; if you call he's getting 3:1. He could also be weak-betting with a flopped monster. Or he could have AA and be afraid of AT. Lots of different scenerios, and by just check/calling you have no idea where you're at. That large turn bet could be a value bet, or could be a bluff based on your weak calls on the earlier street.

The way I play it, you have two choices: either raise the flop and re-evaluate based on how villain reacts, or just give this up right away.

Personally, I think the decision is somewhat of a coin-flip and which way I go depends what on several factors that you didn't include: your table image, how often villain's been folding to your raises, and how often villain goes to showdown.

I think you have to fold that turn.

Villain is giving you 3-1 and you may be close to drawing dead. How many outs do think you have? You only have two clean outs (K's) assuming villain doesn't have JJ. You are probably way behind on the turn and I can't think of anything short of a miracle improving you on the river.

I think this might be closer to correct, though I'm not sure if he plays AQ, TT, Kx upto the turn like this or some SC in [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]'s..

Folding the turn is definitely not a bad idea.
