Default T6s in the BB

No real read on villain, pretty avg/loose after 30 hands or so.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG raises, 4 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, UTG calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero calls.

River: (8.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10.25 BB

Should I have folded, and if so, when?

For me, preflop. Given you played, I do the same on the flop, but then I would fold to the turn raise.

yeah i'd fold PF too. When UTG raises the turn it's unpretty to call down.

Preflop and flop are fine, IMO. I'd probably fold the turn but I'm not sure calling down is that bad. This situation comes up a lot for me actually and I'm usually pretty unsure on what to do.

I fold pre-flop. This is too much cheese to bother defending with from a UTG raise.

Given that you decided to play it, just fold the turn. You really think he's raising a weak T or worse there?

Villain calling the flop checkraise then raising the turn indicates trips or a T with a better kicker a lot. I'd let go on the turn. I'd also fold preflop.

obviously if this were a steal it would be different. How many callers before you make this call against an UTG raise?

Personally, I like two. But I'll usually play this with one. G00t?

Depends on the raising and the CC. If there's a LAG raiser and bad CC, I would play xxs. Crappy suited hands rely on getting paid when you hit the flush for a good deal of their EV. If the raiser or the CC'er are tight or weak, I'd muck it.

Thanks for all the replies. 6max is a learning experience for me. Quite different from full ring.

starting hand requirements should still be similiar esp when it comes to UTG or UTG+1 raiess.

also whether full ring or 6max you should proabably fold to the turn raise.
