He's obviously got an overpair or a set. AA/QQ imo.

there is a pretty big difference in him having an overpair vs a set don't you think?
and you don't think he'd make this play w/9-9 --- QQ?
and how bout AQ hearts?
all in all i didn't find your post very helpful.

Seems like a set played really straight-forward to me- utg limp, call raise, check-raise flop, turn all in...

Do you think he would limp UTG w/ AQs and cr the flop? I don't play in this game so I don't know if that is a common line.

I'd put him on a set or AA.
You put in a raise preflop and then made a good bet on the flop. There is no way he put you on a set with that flop.
He put you on QQ-AA not any lower.
His reraise signals real strength since u raised preflop and put in a decent bet on the flop.

Either AA limp or a set. Since first in I'd put him on 77 or maybe 44.

I agree, AQs cr is overplaying here, maybe he thinks he has 2 overcards...

Looks like Aces to me!?

I don't think he had a set - his check/raise on the flop I think is an attempt to get to the river for cheap with a flush draw. With the flopped set I think he would have waited until the turn to get significant money in the pot. (primarily because your bet is unlikely to signal a flush draw, so why should he bother scaring you away). When he bets out on the turn he has likely made a weak hand but has a re-draw to a better hand. I would not be surprised if he had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

AA/QQ are pretty unlikely based on the pre-flop action. I think a limp-reraise would have occurred. But we don't know if he is tricky and playing AA this way. JJ is a real possibility though.

OH Im so sorry for sharing MY opinion. Of course I said the same thing as the previous post but this time I wanted to CLARIFY what I meant for those who didnt get it.

Don't flame opinions contribute with your own instead of ruining others.
Said earlier in the thread? I was the first one to reply..
