10 10 facing a large raise, $55 hand
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (9 handed) converter
BB (t2190) UTG (t1000) UTG+1 (t985) MP1 (t1190) Hero (t945) MP3 (t975) CO (t955) Button (t945) SB (t815) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls t15, 2 folds, Hero calls t15, 1 fold, CO calls t15, 1 fold, SB raises to t150, 1 fold, UTG folds, Hero folds, CO folds. Final Pot: t210 I'm never quite sure what to do in these situations, While a large raise out of the blinds normally is extreme strength I've seen this move very often with mid pocket pairs. I folded in the hand but didn't feel too good about it and wondered what other people's actions would be. |

Yep, fold. You can push if you read AK and can keep chips if you win the race.
