Situation: Vs. Unknown, overcard hits the turn.
Situation. I'm new to the table, in LP with QQ.
There's an MP raiser, a cold caller and I 3-bet. The other 2 guys come along. (10.5 SB) Flop: Rags. check-check. I bet. call-fold. (So the original raiser is still in the hand) (6 BB) Turn: Ace. Damn, there's the overcard that I didn't want to see. Now raiser leads out. What do I do? What I'm thinking about: Don't fold for 1 bet in large pots. Is this now a large pot? I need to call 1 BB into this now 7BB pot, but really if I don't spike a Queen I'll need to pay off 2 BB cuz I'll be calling on the river if I'm calling on the turn. Folding here seems weak, but might be the best course of action. If villain had AK, he'd be right to call 1SB into a 11.5 SB on the flop with just overcards, so I don't think I could have protected my hand anymore than I did on the flop, right? |

I would probably fold.

Re: Situation: Vs. Unknown, overcard hits the turn.
Most of the time, I fold this when bet into on an ace hitting the turn. It's 4-1 to call this down, which is not very good imo. Alternately, you could raise, but I think that's a very bad choice.

if i called down it would be for the sake of future hands, not this one.
