Now Sheetz I know from my days in western PA.

They had those sandwiches where you checked off on the little form what you wanted it. Yummm.
Sheetz absolutely rock and I think my life is not what it should be now that I am living without them.

The Wawa thing is kind of weird.
Is wawa supposed to mean something?
Were they watching a lot of Jon Stewart perhaps? ("Whaaaaaaaaaa???????")

Being from WNY, we used to always stop in PA on road trips to Ohio, the Carolinas, whatever...for the cheap gas and even cheaper price of soda (or pop as we'd call it...) Not sure about the gas, but I'm sure the price of a 12-pack of our favorite non-alcoholic beverage(s) hasn't risen .50 a can during a shortage crisis!

Eastern PA. Not sure how large an area the chain covers though...

Central NJ too.

Delaware and Maryland too.

And to answer the original question, yes, I probably will be more hesitant to make the 150 mile hike to AC until these prices go down. However, my roommate has been wanting to take some shots at the 1/2 NL and has recently acquired the cashflow to do so, so we may be going somewhat often anyways.

From the Company's website:

"Wawa" is a Lenni Lenape Indian word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley, that's why we use the goose on Wawa's corporate logo.

It is 94 miles from my house to the Taj. I get about 20mpg on my 2000 jeep. Gas figuring to be at $3.60. 4.7 gallons each way = $33.84 trip just on gas = 1.384 SB. Let's do it...

Bob, you really are missing out on one of the finer things in life in Wawa. It is simply a hell of a convenience store.

It is a distant second to Sheetz, but those two are so far out in front of the rest of conveniencestoredom that it hardly even matters.

sheetz does not have porn last I checked, not even a playboy. I've never been in a wawa though.

Yes.I deposited yesterday with the Party reload bonus so I would have a reason to stick around the house this weekend and not be as temted to drive the 200 mile roundtrip to the casino.

You guys remember when WAWA used to run the promotion where you could use their free atm and in turn get $1 off a hoagie!!! Now it's just 25 cents off a crappy iced-tea (just kidding...i love wawa iced-tea too).

MMMM...WAWA hoagie...i gotta go
