Nah, he's not a pro...

He doesnt have any other form of income (except for his poker related ventures), plays hours upon hours of poker every week, travels the world playing the biggest tournaments, and most likely filed his taxes as a "professional gambler".

Sure...lets have a debate about this.

I agree. (omfg)

I think Fischman is a fine player who will do very well over the years. Yes, he is a gambler, but a very good one.

[/ QUOTE ]

They always neglect to call him a pro, though. I was wondering if he still works a normal job day to day.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're not serious.

I would say he's a pro now...a professional douchebag... He is a very talented player, especially online, but my rant comes from elsewhere. Here is a guy, before becoming a poker player, that used to be a poker DEALER...making a living off of tips from players. Now he earns a living playing the game, and preaching to others how NOT to tip a dealer. (was clearly written on his website) Talk about forgetting where you came from... If you chose to not tip, then fine...just don't go around telling others what to do with their money/winnings. Grade A douchebag if you ask me...

That doesn't seem that bad..

How NOT to tip a dealer: *flips $1 toke to dealer and says, "There you go, stupid dealer!"*

Avoid this.

What do they ship styrofoam in after they make it?

If our knees were on the back of our legs, what would chairs look like?

Why do your feet smell and your nose run?

IS Scott Fischman Pro or not?

Wow, i like him even more now. I wonder what the backstory to that is?

Anyway, little nugget of info. He is bankrolled by several NY business men who pay him into all the big tourneys he plays.
