It all depends on your location and accessibility to cleansing utilities. My ex failed to inform me that it was her time of the month, and I only noticed after we finished up that I had some red crusties dried up on me. It looked disgusting and smelled gross. I was in her room in our dorms which is on a girls floor. I had to put all my clothes back on, and walk back up to my floor to go shower. I felt very dirty.
