Default I\'m not sure which play I like better

Villian and I have been going back and forth for quite some time. His range of hands here is pretty big, I am next to 100% sure that I am ahead right now. I am having some trouble deciding if it is better to 3bet the flop or to donk bet any non-heart turn.

What do you guys think?

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Call his raise. Check-raise any non-heart. Alternatively, check-raise the flop because villian is betting this 100% of the time here.

I think there are more draws we could be vulnerable to other than hearts, so I think we ought to get our bets in now.

It would be terrible to give UTG a free card on the turn.

I don't see why he would though. He raises you on the flop, and you call. He doesn't have the equity here to pump only a draw unless he's counting on you to fold to a turn bet. With you calling, we can assume here that he thinks that he's ahead in the hand. Basically what I'm saying is that he really can't check-behind here with a non-heart on the turn because if he's thinking that we could have one heart on this flop he'd be a fool to let us draw to the river with the chance to improve. Coupled with the fact that I think he thinks he's ahead here, I'm expecting him to bet this turn regardless of what card falls.

You said yourself that you two have been going to war. Why would he check-behind here?

I call flop reraise (just to protect against bluffers). Check fold UI on turn.

UTG could easily be on a one card flush draw and if it is he'll take the free card on the turn and I'd let him. I just don't think your hand is strong enough to fight for and the pot is small. I'm just trying to get to the showdown as cheaply as possible

Because he has one heart and two overcards
