Default Losing Weight Fast

I know there have been lots of "Losing Weight" threads, so i apologize, but i think my question is unique enough for a new thread.

Me and my friend(similar in size and weight) have made a $1000 bet on who will lose the most weight by New Years. I am 5'9 and 200 lb's.
What is the fastest way to lose weight, solely for winning the bet?
I don't care if i'm "just going to gain it all back - and then some", I just want to lose the most possible weight i can in the next 40 days.

What should i do?

Excercise a whole lot?
Don't eat any bread(carbs)?
Live off water and vitamins?
Eat alot of Fiber?
Any special pills?

I appreciate any feedback.

Bump of crystal every day ending with a bout with dysentery and gatorade one week before the weigh-in

Good luck

Use the Men's Health ABSDIETPOWER and exercise regularly
I lost 17 pounds in one month and steadily lost 1.5/week after that until I got to a 'reasonable' weight for me
You don't have to starve...stay reasonable...5 smaller meals a day and upto 2500 calories, unless you are exercising a shitload.
A: almonds (and other healthy nuts)
B: beans (and other legumes)
S: spinach (and other green vegetables)
D: dairy
I: instant oatmeal
E: eggs
T: turkey (and other lean meats)
P: peanut butter
O: olive oil
W: whole grains (breads and cereals)
E: extra-protein powder (whey)
R: raspberries (and other berries)

Cut out the rest. Make sure it's the good stuff too. For example, breads and cereals is referring to the 100% whole grain non-sugar laden stuff. Don't consume over 600 calories per meal. The diet is closely related to the South Beach Diet; a balance of 'good' carbs, protein, and fats.

Scroll down to the fat-fast diet.

It's a bitch but if you can hang in there for the ~6weeks it will work as well as anything else.

Sleep on a damp mattress. I lost 14 lbs in 3 days using this method. (I was also hospitalized, so make sure you have health insurance, or it could be -EV).
