Default Squeeze-ish Play... Any good?

I'm thinking this may have been a bit too desperate. Hoping to get heads up with all those dead chips, if not take em uncontested. I have no reads unfortunately.

Reraising an UTG raiser w/ AJo? Dead chips? Lemme guess, you were dominated?

Actually, be glad you posted and hope some of the regulars fry you up real good.

If there were two limpers here, then I'd like the squeeze play a whole heck of a lot better.

But an UTG raiser who put just a little more than 1/4 of his stack in the pot, and another caller, well, I don't think you're getting UTG out of this hand, and the MP caller smells like a mid-size pair or another solid hand.

You're probably behind both. Fold.

Suprise suprise, I like it.

Considering this is party poker, I think being dominated by anyone other than original raiser is unlikely, also I give him a wide enough range that AJ is a good bet with the dead money in the pot.

This is a high risk play, but I much prefer this than consciously going into the 100/50 level with 6xBB.

You are going to have to double up in the next 10-20 hands, I'll take a 2-1 shot here to triple my chips. I think everyone folds enough to make up for an missing equity when you do get called.

Keep in mind this will fail more often than it will work, which is why you need to be able to triple up to try it.

I would like it if UTG and your stacks were deeper.

one of the benefits of the squeeze play is that the people will fold because they do not want to play the rest of the hand OOP, so this play is not that effective in the SB (although u are pushing so it doesnt matter that much).

also, the limpers and raisers will be getting 2:1 on their money AT LEAST. someones gonna prolly call

given these two facts, not a big fan of teh play

You guys SERIOUSLY have to start watching your tables. If you want I will post 30 or 40 hand histories where I have seen party players raise UG with AT or worse.

Giving party fish too much credit is a bad bad thing to do

So if I am offered a bet early in a MTT where I risk 600 chips to win 10,000. Do I take it?

What if I will only win 25% of the time? I mean, I will be out of 75% of my tournaments.

Alright, now reread your quote, and think.......pot odds, and +CEV.
