Default Playing for charity next Friday

Hey all --

Next Friday night, my good friend and occasional 2p2 poster Fudgenut and myself are going to play poker for 4 hours and donate our winnings (hopefully it's a winning session) to Habitat for Humanity (though each of us have set a cap of $1000). I would like to encourage as many of you as possible to join us in this charitable endeavor or create your own.

Moreover, I am willing to handle any administrational purposes if you wish to donate any of your winnings but don't want to personally take the time to bring the money to Habitat for Humanity to give to them (which would mean you'd inter acct transfer or neteller me whatever donation you're making). I can provide whatever proof you desire that they receive the money and I do not pocket it myself.

Thanks all.

- Mike

As Schneids stated, I am doing the same deal, 1G cap! Good luck to us for Habitat's sake!

I know you are a very respected poster around here, but it seems like this could come off badly.

putting on the gloves and helping HfH put up the housing would be equally satisfying. you would also meet new people and stuff. chicks dig volunteers.
