Was clearing a bonus at Party when this hand came up...

After the river was out there i did't expect to get the money...

Mix it up... Know it's not by the book and I muck the hand 99 of 100 times in this position.

Don't "mix it up" with total trash hands. If you want to vary it a little bit, open with 55 or 76s from EP--that way you can at least have some sort of showdown value, instead of running a pure bluff beginning-to-end.

I almost put something along these lines in the "One Good Idea" thread. Playing some different cards sometimes is important, but at least they should have a tiny chance of eventually being the best cards. Or, do it from the Button or CO. Total crap UTG or UTG+1 doesn't do any good.

Yes, I know that... Usually I play higher stakes and never ever play a hand like this then.

It's dangerous to play at tables lower than normal for this reason. It's so "cheap" to just take a card of or make a stupid play etc.
