flop action confuses me, 33/66 are the only hands I'm really afraid of and you may have a lower flush drawing dead.

Why are you not betting pre-flop, post flop? Wouldnt you like to "see" what others have? if you loose to a dude with 66 or 33 here credit your passive play?

Thoughts?

Hands like AT and AJ suck in these early stages unless you've determined one particular villain to be a loose fishy caller that's passive. And I wanted to see a flop.

I fail to see what a smallish bet on the flop would help determine, asides from the people with nothing getting out of the hand.

lets you see the river cheaply if you miss the turn sometimes. Sometimes to take the pot right there which isn't bad either.

Anyways, I went into the tank and folded. I don't feel so bad about it though.

A guy bets 970 into a pot of 90 on the turn where nobody has shown any strength at all and you give him credit for a boat. You should feel bad about your fold.

I would feel bad. What are you waiting for? This just about never means a boat. You will see the K spade here sometimes. People are monkeys like this with weak hands -- they try to get value out of a full house.
