Default Bluffed on the turn, now what?

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (5 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero calls.

River: (7.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero?????

Villian is a 51/3/.6, pretty average idiot sort of player.

The question, if hes bluffing on the turn, does he still call?

I think you'll get value from low pairs. I say bet/fold.

Agreed. I think there's an outside chance he calls here, and if he does, you'll have him beaten often enough.

I can also see someone waiting until the turn to raise their Jack with a lower kicker. I think there's value in a bet as well.

A J is an unlikely card, and standard play from a lot of guys is to wait until the turn to raise their pp to induce a more likely fold, and to get 1/2BB more out of overcards. If he can fold, I check it through because very few losing hands will call. It's likely he can't fold worth [censored], so there's an easy value bet here, folding to the c/r.

A lot players don't understand value-betting, especially on the river.

The A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] is a scare card to him. I think he has QJ or KJ a lot here

check behind. it looks like he has a J, and he's calling your river bet.

There are worse jacks that are calling our river bet. So just because we think he has a jack isn't reason enough not to bet.

That's not an important question because when he checks the ace it means there's a very low chance he was bluffing
