i've never seen tilt, i like madsen, and i was still suprised at how bad he was in sin city.

Not sure what that song was about, but you are right. He was criticized in reviews too (if you listen to them). It really seemed like he just phoned in his role, all his lines were said in the same tone (even if they had different meanings, feelings about them). Didnt matter much, his role was small.

also, jessica alba has a fat face. the barmaid was clearly the hottest one in the movie.

[/ QUOTE ]

Brittany Murphy is not hotter than Jessica Alba. Or James King. Or Carla Gugino. Or Devon Aoki. Or Alexis Bledel. Or Rosario Dawson. Or a couple of other chicks whose names I didn't know.

very true. at the beginning though i was like "oh no, this movie is going to suck." but then he went away and mickey rourke and a ton of hot chicks showed up and the movie proceeded to rule.

Saw it tonight. Very good, surprisingly intense. Not for everyone. 3.5 out of 4 stars.

Well, with all the repeat threads cluttering things up around here, I figured I'd try and set an example by showing just how easy the "search" function is.

Just saw it and really liked it as well. One thing that could have been better was get a few better actors for some of the roles. Some of the over the top noir stuff could have used some better delivery than people like Brittany Murphy and James King are capable of. Nonetheless, I thought it was very good.

Could not agree more.
