Check call seems fine because it's hard to see what else he could possibly have in his hand. I am definitely betting more on this turn though ($18 or so sounds right), because stacks are deep and I want to get it all in on any river but this.

I have never been busted by four of a kind and have only seen a PP full house been busted once in all my time playing poker.

That's only because flushes are far more common than full houses. The fact is that villain was BB, so literally any hand containing the case 2 is possible. The situation is exactly the same in that he must have one specific card in his hand to win (excluding in this case I guess 88).

Oh, if you call and he does have the four of a kind, you can look into the site to see if they have some sorta bad beat prize. I forget which site I played on that it. But they did.
