Flop: ($4.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Hero checks, MP3 bets $11.00, Hero calls $11.00.

River: ($44.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $15.00, MP3 raises all in, Hero folds.
Final Pot: $99.75.

I had ~$12 left after he pushed on the river, so I'm getting a very good price. Standard?

No reads I play it similarily. I'm slowing down after the flop reraise and the 1/2 pot bet on the turn suits me. Why not just push the river if you had only $12 left?

I think you have to call this. Doubtful he has a set due to the preflop raise. On the rare occasion he does have kings, you screwed. But i think 7/10 times he doesnt have it. I say he has either AA, QQ,JJ, or AK. You only have 12 dollars left with a 100 dollar pot, I just dont see any reason to fold here

44/99 are very very possible, do you fold low-mid pockets to a 4xBB raise? even UTG raise?

Do you really think he's raising anything that can't beat a K on the river? No one is going to try to bluff me off my last $12 in a $100 pot.

Because I have no reason to think that I'm ahead. The reason for the river blocking bet is to set my own price for a showdown and save what's left of my stack.

I would fold the turn if you are going to fold the river.

I think you played well.
Most likely you are beaten.
Villian should have a set, AA or AK.
Your only hope is for an AK split.

The only different thing I may do is to raise
from $11 to $20 after the turn and fold to a reraise.
That will save you $6 in your river bet and you are much more sure you are beaten.

Turn bet $11 seems to me is a weak bet. If Vilian calls my $20 raise, I will bet all in after river.

Maybe I should have, it just felt so weak tight. Up until the river, I think KQ plays like this also.

If I checkraise here, I don't see myself getting away from the hand with any money left. Perhaps I should've led the turn and folded to a raise.
