The 3+Rebuys to the $215 are suuuper soft. You can post a ridiculous ROI if A) you know how to play the bubble and B) You can get some decent chips in the 1st 2 hours.
This tournament is a goldmine so STAY AWAY :P.
I'm like 3/5 in these which sustains my losing streaks in the cash ones.

As far as for $T, I, like Exitonly, vastly prefer the $36+3 freezeout to the $3+ rebuys. I find too often in the $3+ that I navigate deep into the tournament only to be knocked out by an unusual play. They are very soft, but when it gets down to ~20-30 from the bubble, stacks are short and cards can make the difference. Plus they take forever. 4+ hours?

With the 36+3, about 1 in 6 get seats. Play is usually ok, but when there are 30 seats available in a field of 190, I like my chances.

For FPPs, the EPT 300FPP events for 3000 FPPs are incredibly soft. I like to build FPPs through that to take on the 500-1500 FPP SnGs to the $215 Sunday, which are also soft.

Often I will be able to sit out 15 to 20 minutes from the end of this tourney as my chip stack is almost a mathematical lock to qualify.

Do you have a mathematical way to find out when can you sit out and auto qualify for a satellite?

you'll never be a lock, but i would really like to see some type of formula that gives you % chance to make it based on stack size related to number or players left, seats given, and total chips in play. this would be an awesome learning tool for bubble stages of supersats.

This is easy. HOH2 shows you how to do such calculation.

It's in the Satellites part, around page 410 or so.

excellent advice. thanks. tried my first $36 + $3 freezeout and had success with the very first time 1 for 1(had been playing the lower level freezeouts that pay about 1 in 10, I like my chances with this 1 in 6 so much better)
