Default I have a serious question about nipples!

I've been meaning to ask this question for a little while, and have held off. But, I saw two posts about running, and I was like, what the [censored].

While running outside, I notice that, on some days, my nipples begin to hurt. From the shirt rubbing against them.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Im looking for a solution that doesn't involve band-aids (as I think that would require me to shave first)

Used to happen to me too.

I think it's the shirt material.

Running shirts are good.

vaseline...ive seen some marathoners who cut holes in their shirts so they dont rub. cause if you run 26 miles and its rubbing the whole time it can like bleed and stuff

Some men have this problem. Usually it comes during a rookie marathon run. I guess the nipples get raw and bleed in extreme cases. Eventually, your nipples get tougher and don't have as much of a problem. The only thing to try is to experiment with different fabrics or maybe some kind of nipple tape. I've never had this problem personally, but I've heard some nasty stome nasty stories.

this happened to me frequently during ultimate (frisbee) tournaments. that [censored] HURTS something bad.

I went and got some under armour (not the spandex kind, but the t-shirt kind) and not only is it soft enough to prevent the chafing, it stays dry and doesnt get all soggy and weigh you down.

a very good investment

I can definitely see where a good layout would exacerbate the problem. I used to get this occasionally after long cross-country practices.
