i think if you just never played "for set value" from level 3 on, you would save yourself a fair few chips.

the party structure just doesnt allow for it. also... open limping from the CO with 55 here is... sheesh, really bad. i cant imagine doing it.

Would everybody be okay with this play if it were in a $55? I normally just lead out the flop and fold to a raise. I guess it leaves me open to bluff-raising, but people fold the flop a lot of the time. I honestly wouldn't think of checkraising here with 55. Maybe 99-JJ though.

If they are bluff raising you, they are bluff raising for their entire stack. This is important/beneficial the times u have AQ/AA/KK...

What i want ot know is WHY is this flop good for you? and is the difference between a bet of 150 and 200 significant for the villain to make?

Pot is at 375 on the flop, btn bets out for 200 of his 605 chipstack which leaves him with 405, and the pot is now 575.
I would think that the btn wouuld be calling your push with anything because his bet seems to commit him to the pot.

I would much rather lead this flop for standard continuation bet and fold to a push.
