Default Bellagio credit line

In advance of my trip I filled out the web-based application and was granted a decent line of credit. Then I found out that I can't cash a check at the cage against this new line, and that they frown on me taking a marker out at a table and then walking (over to the poker room) with the chips.

Most of the places here in Reno let me cash checks against my credit lines without problem.

Any suggestions? I just want easy access to cash on the trip...

Wire money over and have them keep it in a box for you.

Yeah I just went to my bank today and had them wire it over to the bellagio...call the cage and ask them for the wiring information and then when you get there you just go up to the cage and withdraw whatever you want. You can put it back in and withdraw it whenever you want and when you're leaving they'll wire it back to your bank (assuming that's what you want).

Seems liek the way to go IMO.

If you must take a marker, can't you just play BJ for like an hour, and then ht the poker room?

What fees are typically associated with doing what you describe?

Standard wire fee is $20 for my bank, often the casino will rebate the fee if you ask them to. Another option is EFT, I don't know if the big casinos have implemented that yet however - nice and free

That's about what I've paid for a wire before.
