Default Strat-O-Matic Games

Did anybody else here grow up playing the Strat-O-Matic board/dice games? My friends and I were fanatical about playing Strat-O-Matic baseball as a kid. And I still play in a 24 team computer league. Since the probability aspect translates to another card game that we all play, I'm guessing some others may have played it at some point.

There are a couple of FTF Strat leagues in NYC. I can probably put you in touch with some people if you are interested.

Any websites or anything so I could look at the rules?

When I was in 5th grade I was obsessed with Strat-O-Matic baseball. My father had to go a long distance just to find a store that had it. I stopped playing when I got to junior high.

I was suprised a few years ago when I found out that this game was still alive. I thought video games and computer would have killed it.

One of my roommates and I have just recently started playing a similar, less-complex game that he found in his closet. We're pretty close to buying the newest version of Strat-O-Matic.

I played a ton growing up.

Personally, I haven't played the board game in about 10-15 years. The computer version is good...and it keeps all of the stats and reports for you.

We should all meet up in Vegas and run a tournament.
