ok, 6-7BB instead of 4-5? And reraises like 10bb?

I think you want to reraise enough to where his hand range that he calls with is narrowed.

in the AA hand, you can't entirely discount a T for example.
you have no idea what he has. hell, if it was me, I would be calling your reraise with almost any suited connector, 1 gapper.

also, if you are out of position, I think you need to reraise more if you think you will have problems playing postflop.

Here are my thoughts...

Hand 1: raise more preflop - check/call reasonable bet on river, fold to large bet

Hand 2: fold preflop

Hand 3: fold preflop

Hand 4: raise more preflop - fold to flop raise

Hmm... you really only had 17% VPIP? You seem pretty loose here.

This is good advice, thanks.

I think I wanted him in the hand, because I kept losing with AA and I thought "I can't lose AGAIN with AA". But I did. He had KT. I'm dumb

you fold QJs when no one raised before??

The KJs call was a little loose I admit. But yeah, 17.6% VPIP, I'm normally about 21%

I see nothing wrong with the QJs hand.

Although in the QJs hand, I did get my money in with the worst of it, he had flopped the nut flush.

Ya I only play it in CO, button, and SB. If I were to play it in EP though, I'd have to raise it. No limping allowed.

what is the reasoning here? Surely only hands that dominate you will call?

So I can get position.

And with a hand like QJs, I'm not playing for top pair or two pair. I want hands that will dominate my top pair and two pair hands, so I can break them with a flush or straight.

I could be wrong.
