Default KK on the bubble

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (4 handed) converter

Button (t3312)
SB (t2385)
BB (t2310)
HERO (t1993)

Preflop:
HERO raises to t400, Button calls t400, 2 folds.

Flop: (t1025) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
HERO checks, Button bets t2200, UTGA folds.

Final Pot: t3225

This was a $55 and blinds are going up in 2 hands. I probaly should of just pushed preflop but I had (X14BB) on the bubble. No reads on the villian as we just got to the bubble and I've been 4 tabling. Seems kind of weak-tight to check/fold the flop, but then again it is the bubble and the villian is not laying down the ace. Seems like the correct line is either check/fold, or check/call, as a contuation bet would leave me short-stacked. Only problem is if I check/fold here im going to be shortstacked and getting bullied and probaly busting out on the bubble anyways. That's why I think check/calling may be a better line as if the villian doesn't have an ace (he is a big stack so if he is a good player he'd be bulling). I'll be the big stack and still playing for first. Also would villian really push an ace here (probaly yes?)?

This is probably one of the rare poker moments that would actually get a rise out me. I see the ace, say f@#%, and fold.

Fold. Even though it looks like the big stack trying to push you around. Preflop raise seems fine.

Anyways, you still have 1555 chips with blinds at only 150.

His flop bet does seem suspicious, but I'd likely put him on a weak ace. Either way, I fold this. You still have enough chips to get away from this hand, no problem.

I'd also consider open pushing the flop if I thought there was a reasonable chance I'd be getting called by a worse hand or he'd fold a weak ace. If you're fairly sure neither of these will happen though, check/folding is the safer option.

You gotta fold, could be bluffing but it's not worth the risk.
