Default weak/tight play on river?

UTG is loose/passive preflop, then super aggressive on the flop, and slows way down on the turn and river.

BB just sat down.

I think this river check by me is super weak/tight and just very wrong. Thoughts?

You have 3 hands on page 1 where you ask if you should bet the river. In all 3, you should.

There is something here to be learned...

When someone posts 3 hands asking hte same question, it usually means they think they have a leak and are looking to confirm that and then fix it.

so far i've yet to find a hand i checked on the river when i had any doubts when the check was right, so thats a yes.

my aggression factor was dropping from around a 3.5 to a 1.5 on the river, so i was pretty sure i was doing something wrong.

when in doubt, bet the river is my new philosophy. Though these hands really shouldnt have had me in doubt. not sure why i was slowing down so much.

With that read, I say bet it out for value. You can't depend on him to bet, but there are alot of weak hands that he might call with.
