He's still a mean stupid prick, but he's also very funny!

Just my own little theory, but maybe the reason Matusow gets a bad rap is because his voice sounds like Hellmuth's.

I still laugh everytime Raymer makes his nut flush vs him.

I hate the way he acts at the final table when scotty nguyen won the main event. He's jumping all over him. "YAAAAA SCOTTY". Scotty doesn't even acknowledge him.

He's just another personality that you love to hate.

At least at times he can be funny.

Well. I agree with part of what you say. He's not just a total jerk. Its more like he's kinda not so smart and always puts his foot in his mouth. And he says and does things that he probably shouldn't but doesn't mean to harm or hate anyone. And probably has a buig heart if you knew him personally. Like a buddy some of us have where they always manage to f_ck up somehow but has a big heart and isn't the bad guy that's perceived.

This is just a guess but thats how he comes off to me. He's entertaining to watch. But at the table in the heat of the moment he's a "censored". But probably an ok guy away from the table.

His behavior with Greg was really unacceptable. I believe it was his true nature. What you are seeing now is a response to public opinion (negative of course). This behavior, along with legal issues, has make it very hard to associate with solid endorsements I would imagine.

They just showed this on ESPN seconds ago. It was ranked the #10 most memorable moment of the 2004 WSOP.
