From a $/hr perspective this might be argued to being a good call. Not from a ROI perspective.
I dont like it either way though. Fold (all in the absense of notes from previous games). Phill |

What is your reason for entering this tournament? If you want a quick shot at $5, then go ahead and call hoping your opponent is on a draw. If you actually want to play some poker, fold this and realize that you have 50 or so hands to get back the 40 chips you just lost.

Seems like a fold. If your opponent is this crazy with bluffs or marginal hands, eventually you'll pick him off.

[/ QUOTE ] agreed. but, my line of thinking is that a bet like this is almost ALWAYS a bluff. if he had a straight, he wouldnt do this. if he had an overpair, he would have almost certainly raised PF if he then bets this large soon after. Anyway, I called, he flipped over 10 3 and didnt hit his st8. shortest game ever. |
