Default A couple hands I think I screwed up

Hand 1:
No reads on villian. Just sat down.
The turn raise should be a fold, right?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (4.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (7.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 7.25 BB

Hand 2:

Villian is 25/6/2. I felt like he missed the flop but I am not sure about how I went about trying to push him off the hand (which I am now guessing he actually had).

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Hand 1: fold the turn, raising is stupid here

Hand 2: Fold preflop. Cold calling = very very bad. Re-raise if you think hes a maniac to isolate, which this guy isnt. After all that, fold the flop. This guys solid, what UTG preflop raising hand do you think you can have beaten by the river? The answer: silch.

Regarding hand 2, I guessed he might have had a hand like KQ or a pocket pair like Js or 10s that I could push him off, making him think I was an idiot who would just cold call with Ax.

Hand 1: Fold turn bet. You've got A high in a 4 BB pot where BB is probably playing any random hand. Screw it and move on.

Hand 2: Villain is tight, so fold your KQo preflop. On the flop, you are likely VERY behind given his range of hands (AA-99, AK-AT). The only hand you hope he has is KQ and *maybe* KJ.

Never cold call with KQ unless it is suited.

Never EVER play it like that post flop again either. You are ahead of NOTHING here, and not getting anyone to fold.

hand 1: fold the turn. The pots small and it looks like villain has a made hand. Why did you raise? FPS?

Hand 2: fold pre-flop, you shouldn't be cold calling raises with KQ offsuit.
You felt like he missed the flop? well so did you, so fold. Bluffing rarely works at these limit. Actually this flop is more likely that he hit, what do you think he is raising with AK,AQ,AJ,AA,KK,QQ,JJ,1010.all beat you on this flop.

Hand 1: Yes, fold.
Hand 2: Aren't you much more likely to raise the turn than the flop with an ace? At least do a good job of butchering this hand.
