Default Hypothetical situation

You have a very small bankroll, say, less than $500. You have about $10,000 of assets which includes your car, electronics, jewelery, and other stuff.

Pokah is ni, you ruv pay pokah, and you have grown weary of "regular" work such as retail, corporate, etc. You have 5 years of poker experience in both cash games and tournaments although it would be fair to say you are probably above average in both. You are (in your mind at least) a solid player in both online and live play. You prefer live games to online but have no qualms about playing online. You don't live near a casino, so you'll have to either play strictly online or move to where the games are and play online on your off days or whatever.

Has anyone (and/or WOULD anyone) liquidate most of their assets and take a shot at becoming a pro (or semi-pro)?
