Have you guys read Negreanu's latest card player blog? He sits down at a $5-$10 NL game with $125,000, makes huge raises and bluffs which people fold too and then talks about not needing the cards to win. Of course you can bluff people with $1,000 bets that view that amount as significant, people are usually going to want a very good hand before they call an all-in in a cash game. I can't wait till I get home tonight, I'm jumping down to the 10-25 cent no limit game, I'm going to bully those people around with my 25 bucks and show them you don't need cards to win, it'll be so awesome!

People who are afraid to lose money arent hard to bully around.

Why does what he did upset you? If I was a player in that game I would love to have someone with big money donking around and ready to double me up when i've got the nuts.

Sounds to me like his opponents weren't too good at poker.

Yeah $125,000 seems a little steep for a 5/10 game. Seems more like a 500/1000 game to me.
