Two $22 hands
Hand 1.
No significant reads. They didn't seem like 2+2ers or total donks. Somewhere in between. Raise preflop? Push on the flop? The overbet and coldcall smelled funny to me. Re: Two $22 hands
I would raise preflop on hand one. On the flop, meh, that's one hell of a sticky situation. I think a fold is probably the most prudent option this early.
Hand two I don't like a cont bet on this flop much. There's no draws, so all he's going to call you with is a hand that has you beat, surely? I think the line you took you should fold the river here. |

Re: Two $22 hands
hand 1. I push after the flop
hand 2. I would bet a little more after the flop, ant then go into check-fold mode if I dont improve! |

Re: Two $22 hands
Hand 1 I complete pf (no raise) - but on the flop i push. The majority of the time im pretty sure were ahead.
Hand 2 I make the bet on the flop, but after the call ill fold to a bet on the turn/river if i don't improve |

Re: Two $22 hands
That's a very good point - looking at that, I may well push the flop actually.

Re: Two $22 hands
Hand 1: Check-raise all-in.
Hand 2: That's a pretty dry flop for him to call the flop but not make a play on the turn at you once you showed weakness. I probably fold to his river bet, but I don't hate calling all that much. |

Re: Two $22 hands
Hand 1. Raise to 90-100 preflop and if you still get two callers, I'd put it all-in on the flop instead of checking.
Hand 2. Some would consider your continuation bet on the flop as standard but since you didn't improve by the turn, check fold the river. Villain (IMO) is most likely value betting with what he feels is the best hand. |

Re: Two $22 hands
Hand 1: You got really lucky. I would have gone broke, every time by either pushing preflop, check-pushing the flop, or betting and reraising the flop. Probably lose by check-pushing.
Hand 2: I don't know, this is a tough spot. Small stack could have anything... I guess I call, but I don't know who plays a hand like that. PS. Shoulda figured it for a monster. |
