Default Firefox problem...please help!

my problem is that when i open the firefox browser, there is no place to type in a web address. because of this, i alwatys have to google search where i want to go, and click the link.

i've removed all firefox components and re-downloaded them to no avail.

in addition to that, when i open explorer, it is slow, and a box pops up that asks me to connect to a broadband connection. i am wireless, so i don't understand why it does this since i'm always connected.

i'm pretty sure my DW made all this happen...please help me fix it.

thanks!

In firefox, click View -> Toolbars -> Navigation Toolbar to get your address bar back.

I don't know about the IE problems, but would imagine something in the Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections tab needs to be changed.
