Default A new strong means weak play...

I rarely do this, though I should probably more often...maybe...I sat down about 6 hands ago and in that time frame have been on a mini heater so people are probably less likely to give me credit for strong holdings (probably should have raised more preflop given this)

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

UTG+1 ($1004.50)
Hero ($2494)
MP1 ($2037)
MP2 ($662)
MP3 ($2568)
CO ($2598.50)
Button ($5119)
SB ($2467)
BB ($3131.50)
UTG ($2566.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $10.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls $20, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $100</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP3 calls $100, CO calls $100, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, UTG+1 calls $80.

Flop: ($430) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 bets $200</font>, CO folds, UTG+1 folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $600</font>, MP3 calls $400.

Turn: ($1630) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $700</font>

ballys....i agree on a higher preflop raise.what range of hands would villan smooth call with (AQ AK) and what hands does it take him to repop with. I put villan on Ak AQ with the smooth call. I only like this play if you think villan will lay one of thoses two hands down. You also stated that you had been running hot so i take it you were raising alot of pots. Villan will be more inclined to call u with TPGK if this is the case.

You do a good job of representing AA... I just don't think he's gonna buy it that often.

It's not spewing if he actually plays AA the same way. And his opponents actually notice.

That said, I doubt he plays AA the same way. And I doubt his opponents would notice.

You said yourself that you are not getting credit for big hands. Therefore, when you go 4-way in a raised pot and an A hits I think this hand should end there.

More importantly to me, how's he going to adequately represent AA if his opponent's got one already?

I don't like it.
