Default JJ vs TAG OOP

SB is TAG 18/9/3 over about 2000 hands

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises</font>, 2 folds</font>, MP2 calls, 3 folds</font>, SB calls, 1 fold</font>.

Flop: (7 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
SB bets</font>, Hero raises</font>, MP2 folds, SB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

At this point I'm thinking about what hands he could've called with. I put him on overcards here but he could've also had A3 or A8s but I didn't think he'd 3 bet this pot with trips here.

Turn: (6.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)</font>
SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (8.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)</font>
SB bets</font>, Hero ?
Final Pot: 10.50 BB

Do I call him on the river?

Why not cap the flop? and see what does on the turn?

or if you call his flop 3bet, why not raise the turn?

Definitely call the river bet - 99/TT are possible here or even a worse PP if SB puts you on overcards.

Were you raising a non-8 river?

I think I would raise the turn, not sure if I would fold to a 3 bet.

I think I am - the 8 is much more likely to be played than a 3 by this type of player IMO.

The flop 3 bet is pretty aggro even for a TAG with TP/flush draw, though you'd think any PP better than ours would have 3bet pf.

Would a TAG really call an UTG raise with A3s out of position? I'm thinking 88-JJ, AQ-Ts, KQ-Js, AKo.

How does the SB see you and MP2? Is he making the call because he thinks you're LAG or LPP.

I put him on a draw or a smaller pair, so I would cap the flop and bump him on the turn, and call down if he 3-bets the turn.

With villain being SB he could have a lot of hands. I think based on the play the trip 3's is most likely BUT so many other hands are possible I think the chance of trip 3's or of another hand that beats you (AA, KK limping in) is certainly much less than 90%. Based on the pot all you have to have here is better than 1:9 chance to make it a call.

I think I would raise the turn rather than wait for the river. Too many cards can kill your action if he has an 8, and what do you if a club hits?
