Well...how do you play this...
Hey guys,
I've been having a major problem with this leak of mine. I'm talking about JJ-QQ-KK, I find I'm running into an over-pocket pair a lot. And not having the where with all to fold. I'm talking about when you have QQ, your raise/cap and the flop is perfect for your cards, you raise/cap the flop, call down and run into KK-AA or KK into AA, is their a trick to laying down a big pocket pair on a non-threatening board? |

Re: Well...how do you play this...
There is no trick, these are just tough situations. It should balance out in the long run.
It might help if you post a specific hand to see if there were any clues you were behind, but that's doubtful. You probably played these hands aggressively and correctly. |

Re: Well...how do you play this...
my .2 cents
Usually when you build big pot preflop with your BIG pocket pairs you need to call down -_- |

fold preflop?? [/ QUOTE ] If I'm feeling frisky I'll check/call, check/call, check/call, but what you said is my default line in this situation. |
