Empire Online have bought Club Dice and Noble Poker, which instantly makes them the major player on the Playtech network. It doesn't necessarily follow that they'll now be leaving the Party Poker network. They could just have done it to diversify their operation. But judging from this censorship of the Empire name, it seems like they might indeed be leaving.

I think they may have gotten fed up with the rule that players can only have an account at one room in the party poker network, which severely limits them in attracting players.

Well not very successfully, at least. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

But it is a rule and if Party ever choose to get more serious about it then just checking if one of the skins has already been installed on someone's computer, there would be little Empire could do about it.
