Re: If you can only keep 25 songs
Zee. First off, I'm impressed. Overall, v. nice list. Some overexcitement w/ certain bands, but that is excused due to your youth.
[ QUOTE ] Green Day - Basket Case [/ QUOTE ] I think there might be a better Green Day song for this list. [ QUOTE ] Local H - Bound for the Floor (I expect multiple people to errata their lists and add this song after seeing it on my list) [/ QUOTE ] All the Kids are Right is a better choice. |

Re: If you can only keep 25 songs
If you're putting King Crimson in, you have to put '21st Century Schizoid Man,' that song rules.

Re: If you can only keep 25 songs
I'm more of a fan of their post-Lake work. I mean, granted, early King Crimson is some of the best music ever produced, but we're talking top 25. Larks tongues obviously makes, and NW is a personal fave.

OK, not counting classical or jazz here's 25 I'd want as keepers: [/ QUOTE ] Sorry, Rick, can't do that. That is why my current 42 songs is really like 50. [ QUOTE ] Cool or Not Cool? (remember I'm 50 yrs old ) [/ QUOTE ] Well, cool is a stretch, but I did know them all - and love the mike l. song. For starters, I'll say this. Big Country, BoDeans, Connells - I like all three of those songs, but you can definitely find better. Cranberries? Come on. Dramarama. Great choice. That is a possible addition/replacement to my list. |
