All-in call ???
PartyPoker - NL Texas Hold'em $6 Buy-in + $1 Entry Fee Tournament | Level: 6 - 4 players (Converter: PGC)
UTG has been All-in a couple of times the last 5 hands and won without showing. Before that he had been playing a pretty tight game (19/8/3). I figured he was on a chip steal mood and had him on pretty much anything... Chip Counts: Button: 1210 Chips SB: 525 Chips Hero: 4325 Chips UTG: 1940 Chips Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Blinds are 100/200 PreFlop UTG is All-In, 1 fold SB folds, [b]Hero ??? |

Re: All-in call ???
in a $6 fold. in a 109 or 215 against a person I play regularly I will often call to get them to leave me alone in the future. If they know I will make loose calls with a big stack, they will be very passive till the small stack busts, setting up a good bubble situation.
in a $6 you won't run into any thinking players more than once, so there is no secondary benifit. Steve |

Re: All-in call ???
OK, thanks guys!
Would you have recommended call if I held AK or AQ instead ? I would still be a dog to a pair. (He showed 88 which held up) |

Re: All-in call ???
You should not call unless you think he's pushing 40%+ of hands, which isn't likely at all here (let's assume he doesn't have AA or KK, he wouldn't push with those most likely), with KJo that is. With AKo, if you assume the same, then it's a call for sure (4%+). AQo is more read-dependent as it depends on him pushing 11%+
