Re: 3/6 6m another quick little preflop thingy (really)
Yes I see the potential for a 4-way 2 bet multiway pot with absolute position, but it's obviously not certain, and getting 3 bet by the SB would be terrible. I'm not too comfortable investing 2 bets versus an unknown MP raiser's range at 3-6. It's close, but I lean towards a fold.

I fold. Make MP 50/25 or so and I call.

Re: 3/6 6m another quick little preflop thingy (really)
In my experiences (30k hands) at 3/6 i think a call here makes this a 4 way pot a lot of the times. Obviously this is ideal for your hand which plays well multiway and especially from the button. It does suck if the sb 3 bets here, but as another poster mentioned his PFR stats are not that high considering his vp$ip.

[ QUOTE ]
Unless you know the pot is going to be multiway you should fold [/ QUOTE ] The point here is that the pot seems very likely to be multi way. I think it's close, but I could go any of three ways and not feel bad about it. I'm surprised so many people say fold though... |

Re: 3/6 6m another quick little preflop thingy (really)
Make it 3 or fold. Cold calling is retarded with this hand. Its one of those hands you want to see the flop with but not many hands your a favorite over. JTs and maybe QTs. If its against a LAGGy player who will open with Jto, i might 3 bet, but against an unknown its a fold. Now, if its a looose table where your cold call can get 4 way action, well, thats much different...

[ QUOTE ]
The point here is that the pot seems very likely to be multi way. [/ QUOTE ] Jason told me to keep our opinions anonymous, but I'm going to say a few things here. First of all, it's 6 handed; second, one player already folded; finally, the button is tight. Saying that it's "very likely to be multi way" doesn't make a lot of sense to me here. Yes, it will probably be more multi way than HU, but that's hardly a victory. |
